Innovative Ideas for Development

As of today I am a collaborator of the blog called Innovative Ideas for Development. I'm feel honored to write in that blog, let me tell you a few things about it: it belongs to Nicholas Dominguez, who is currently with the Peace Corps in Kenya, although I guess the name if it speaks pretty much for itself and you should definitely get to know it by reading it!

UPDATE 01: Here is my first post on Innovative Ideas for Development.

Biggest Bonsai in Venice

So I was walking with Angela, and all of a sudden a shape, a green shape catches my attention. The day was hot, the sun was only making it worse but also gave this tree such a breathtaking shade of green. I have never seen anything so zen in Venice.

France doesn't trust Spain

Barcelona, the famous Rambla, we're at the Carrefour supermarket, the only one in the Rambla and I stop, flabbergasted in front of the shampoo desk, yes, the shampoo. Now, let's spend a couple of words about the "Rambla", it is THE most famous street in Barcelona for sure, as a consequence ALL, but really, all the tourists want to walk there, as a consequence, in the Rambla there is the biggest concentration of petty thieves and scammers in Barcelona. The other supermarkets in Spain normally protect their liquor bottles from the thieves by enclosing them in alarm protected strong Plexiglas cases, here at the Rambla, the thievery pressure must be so high and brutal that they protect more than just liquors, as you can see, they also protect a €3 worth shampoo!!!
Welcome to Barcelona!
